What an incredible story. I think this story can be found all across the world. It's amazing how animals and humans can create such amazingly tight bonds... and how your best friend will always be there for you.

Sesame Street: Kermit And Cookie Monster And The Mystery Box
Easily one of my favorite Sesame Street Skits. I don't really remember any of them from growing up, so this is only based on the ones I've seen again more recently. This was posted to a friends Facebook wall. I laughed a ton.

Mandolin Rain - Bruce Hornsby
Another track from the "World's Greatest Dad" Soundtrack. I'd love to hear the whole version of this acoustic track. This movie made me a Horsnby Fan. This song in particular. I can't get enough of it.

Heard this from the movie "World's Greatest Dad". I really liked the movie, but boy did it mess with my emotions. It's got to be one of the darkest comedy's I've ever seen. Really tough subject.

Cake - Jolene
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Cake songs. I hadn't heard it in forever... and I must not have liked it the first time I heard it, but my tastes have changes for the better, I'd say.
I re-heard this while driving out to visit my cousin in the Tri-Cities area. Definitely let it loop a few times to help keep me awake on that really boring long and straight road.

Can't remember where I first heard this song... may be another Jessie Biber suggestion.
Finn Riggins - Wake (Keep This Town Alive)
This is a somewhat local band... they formed while going to school in Moscow Idaho (my current town) and now reside in Boise. They are growing their fan base pretty rapidly... and thats easily explained by their catchy tracks like this one!

tUnE-yArDs - Bizness
Oh my word. This song as absolutely captivated me. I've been repeating it over and over. I love looping music, and anytime someone is doing that with their own voice as an instrument, its all the more impressive.
Tuny Yards have an open date as they pass from BC to Boise... I'd love to try and convince them to play my hometown!

The Brian Jonestown Massacre - Straight Up & Down (LONG VERSION)
A few years ago I came across Brian Jonestown Massacre. Such a complex band and individual in Anton... but dang could they create some really great music. This was played on KEXP the other day - the shorter version - and that prompted me to dig around and find this.
I think one of my most favorite things are looooong songs.
